Elevate east development producer programme

Elevate East’s Development Producer Programme was the one year long pilot producing programme created in 2024 by Creative Director, Jack Edwards.

For Akshita, this entailed engaging with live productions, other development programmes and touring work to enhance her personal practice within the arts, primarily focusing on community engagement, by specific design. Jack and Akshita collaborated to co-curate the programme to suit Akshita’s development needs and desires.

This included supporting a UK+EU Tour of Bailey J Mills: Unfiltered and Scummy, supporting the artist development programme Stuck in the Lift, development sessions with people with varied creative expertises, dedicated training sessions on particular topics like marketing and more!
